Hydraulic rotating ingot tong or rotating ingot lifter is designed to lift and rotate steel ingots from vertical to horizontal, and horizontal to vertical. Hydraulic rotating ingot tong derives its grip from both gravity and hydraulics, each of which creates enough grip to safely hold the device. Rotating ingot lifter has been readily replacing the traditional automatic ingot rotator which uses only gravity for grip and typically drops 25% of the ingots being rotated. Hydraulic rotating ingot tong is also used for rotating slabs. It is used in the steel, titanium, and aluminum industries.
Repair time was good and of course, the quality is excellent.
