This Automatic Roll Tong or cylinder roll tong is used to move single rolls and uses an automatic latching mechanism. It is commonly fitted with brass liners to protect the roll surface during lifting. Automatic roll tongs can be designed to move the roll with or without chocks. Chock stabilizers can be added to prevent chock rotation during operation. The Automatic Roll Tong is a safer method of lifting than using a cable to lift the roll. Automatic roll tongs will optimze your project.
