This Automatic Double Roll Tong or Grab is used to move two work rolls simultaneously and uses an automatic latching mechanism. It is commonly fitted with brass liners to protect the roll surface during lifting. This device can be designed to move the roll with or without chocks. Chock stabilizers can be added to prevent chock rotation during operation but are typically not needed. The Automatic Double Roll Tong is a safer method of lifting than using a cable to lift the roll.
Repair time was good and of course, the quality is excellent.
