This tong is used to move single or multiple slabs. It uses a hoist mounted on the upper beam to control the opening of the tong. This style tong gives the crane operator complete control and is particularly useful in multiple slab operations. This tong can also be designed to operate with the crane auxiliary hoist instead of a tong-mounted hoist.
